Never been on stage but always dreamed of being in showbiz? Or maybe you've performed at a couple of open mic nights and think you're ready for the spotlight. Regardless, it's time to bring 90-seconds of your best material to the BCAE for the chance to win your big break!

On Saturday, November 15, 2014 from 2:00-4:30 pm, the BCAE is offering closet comics the chance to workshop their routines with some of Boston's most talented stand-ups. Don't miss this special opportunity to get tips from the pros about how to polish your performance and maximize the laughs.

Immediately following the workshop, from 5:00-6:30 pm, participants will get to strut their stuff during a comedy club style audition hosted by nationally acclaimed comedian and political humorist Jimmy Tingle who serves as our Dean of Students. Tingle has a celebrated career spanning three decades as a comedian, writer, actor, activist and entrepreneur.

Judges for the audition will include Rick Jenkins of the Comedy Studio, Andrew Mather of The Wilbur, and Susie Brown of the BCAE.
