Talk and TasteThe Massachusetts Horticultural Society (Mass Hort), the Jean Mayer USDA Human Nutrition Research Center on Aging (HNRCA), and the Boston Center for Adult Education (BCAE) team up once again to bring you another in a series of talks and tastes that is anything but garden-variety.
There are more than a million species of fungi worldwide, and only a fraction have been named and studied. Of these, only small percentages are edible. Learn about some common methods of mushroom production, enjoy a cooking demo with tasting, and discover the amazing nutritional benefits that come from eating mushrooms. Recipes will be savory and easy to make at home later.
